2) Your suggestion- To reward players for applying bone meal to saplings that result in a tree.
3) Why do you want this? To slow down the trashing of the map.
4) Additional Information-
If the map reset is in part because much of the map is trashed.
It may be good to look at ways to slow the trashing.
One way the map is trashed is when forests are clear cut and not replaced.
If players were reward for making a tree. More players might run a tree farm.
And some players might go out and replant forests just for the reward.
The act of applying bone meal to a sappling seems to be the point that
offers the least chance for abuse.
i.e - you cant just repeatedly plant and harvest the same sapling.
The reward could be cash, or experience, or putting some item in inventory that could
be then sold or used
On an old server I used to play on, 2 years ago, there was a rule that if you chop a tree down, you have to replant one. Whilst it wasn't enforced or anything, it was a nice attitude to have, and even if not all players do it, it would be a nice thing to do. Personally I have always replanted trees out of habit when I am done with them.
I like the idea
